Soul Searchers

You are a Lost Soul. Your life was ripped from you too early, and you now find yourself doomed to eternal regret in the Origin Sanctum, a mystical place filled with... disgruntled sparkly bugs?!

Team up with other 'lost souls' (all taking the form of some kind of celestial insect) to find the missing fragments of your soul so you can all move on to your next life. These fragments aren't just a collection of glowing gems, these are thoughts and feelings that linger from your past regrets. Explore your own soul to find these fragments and come to terms with your past, so that you may move on with a clear mind.

A choice driven Visual Novel with light-hearted, quirky characters, and plenty of dark undertones about life and regret. Current build is unfinished, but there are plans to include puzzles and numerous story paths, as well as user input options and more!

Originally developed in under 48 hours for the Global Game Jam 2021, with the theme of 'Lost and Found'.
